February proved to be another memorable month as Friede & Associates celebrated being awarded seven more Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) Projects of Distinction Awards recognizing some of the many exciting projects that we completed over the past year:

This year’s winners included Gold Awards for the B-Lux Grill & Bar and the Claim Jumper Slide Tower Replacement at the Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells, the Sanimax Fire Restoration project in Deforest, and the new Nelson True Value store in Prairie du Chien. 

Friede & Associates also received Silver Awards for Casa de Oakes Senior Living project, the Reedsburg Country Club, and the Reedsburg Municipal Airport Terminal, all located in Reedsburg.

Every year, Friede & Associates invites owners and design partners to share in the excitement of the awards ceremony. After all, taking a project from concept to ribbon-cutting is a team effort. "We love our new store. Thank you again to everyone who helped us make this dream a reality," noted Dan Kanis, Owner of Nelson True Value.

For the fifth year in a row, Friede & Associates also received the “Built on Merit” award for using the most ABC members in a particular project that was submitted for consideration. And, with 15 Projects of Distinction Awards over the last three years, Friede is the most awarded ABC member contractor in the state!

The competition is open to all general and subcontractor members of ABC of Wisconsin. The projects are judged on overall project distinctiveness, execution of design, craftsmanship, coordination, budgeting, safety, difficulty, and unusual challenges. Congratulations, Team Friede!
