Project Scope: New volleyball facility, restaurant and bar
Location: Cottage Grove, Wisconsin
Oakstone Recreational is a 14,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building located in the Cottage Grove, Wisconsin industrial park. The project fast-track project took five months to construct during the summer of 2019 and allowed the owners to meet their Labor Day opening date in time for the fall volleyball season.
The project includes a 10,000-square-foot high bay building that houses two indoor volleyball courts and a 4,000-square-foot restaurant, bar, and kitchen that wraps around two sides of the volleyball facility. To meet the business park architectural standards, textured insulated panels were installed in a horizontal manner to add interest to the project. The infrastructure for two future outdoor volleyball courts and an outdoor bar were also a part of the project.
This project was recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin as a 2019 Silver Project of Distinction and by by Metallic Building Company with the 2019 Design-Build Excellence Award.
